The Crest is a waterproof backpack handcrafted from heavy-duty 10.10oz waxed cotton canvas and lined with adventure-tested Cordura nylon.

Uphill Designs was born on Dan’s 2013 thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail. For the trip he sewed a minimalist, lightweight bag and the Crest is a re-envisioning of that little pack that went all the way from Mexico to Canada on foot.

We’ve added deep water bottle pockets, comfy quarter-inch foam back support and a computer slip-pocket to adapt this for your day to day.

Deep water bottle pockets to fit  Nalgene-sized water bottles

Canvas: 10.10oz waxed cotton canvas

Lining: Cordura outdoor nylon

Hardware: antiqued cast-brass

Leather: full-grain vegetable-tanned montana cowhide

Care: Do not machine wash! For best results, gently wash away any dirt or spill with clean cloth, cool water and unscented soap.
